The largest and most representative cultural manifestation in Croatia: international musical, theatre and dance festival in the city of a centuries old civilisational heritage in the unique ambiance of the indoor and open air stages of the renaissance-baroque City of Dubrovnik for the duration of the Festival there will be over 80 drama, ballet, opera, musical shows, literary promotions, exhibition, poetry readings, off theatre shows, etc.

The Dubrovnik Summer Festival was founded in 1950 and since 1956 it has been a member of the European Festivals Association (EFA).
